Mr. Rifkin's Festival - DVD

The marriage of Mort Rifkin and his wife Sue hasn't exactly been idyllic for some time. Yet, or perhaps because of this, Mort accompanies his wife, the publicist Sue, to the San Sebastian Film Festival. She fears that her fascination with the young director Philippe may be more than just professional.
Mr. Rifkin's festival is full of absurdist humor, mixing imaginary situations with reality, romance with grief, and creating a loving tribute to the transformative power of film. Once again, director and screenwriter Woody Allen enchants audiences with a multi-layered story.
The main roles were played by Elena Anaya, Louis Garrel, Gina Gershon, Sergi López, Wallace Shawn and Christoph Waltz.
