Murder in Birch Hill: Haze and Redmond's Most Challenging Case

In a gypsy caravan, parked in a blooming meadow just outside the charming English village of Birch Hill, the body of a dead aristocrat is found. And another young woman is missing. If local inspector Daniel Haze, together with American Civil War veteran Jason Redmond, wants to crack the case, he will have to penetrate many layers of lies, dangerous prejudices and malicious intrigue.
The two girls have almost nothing in common, there is no obvious motive, useful clues are scarce, and Jason and Daniel are at a loss – was it the closest family members, an all-powerful gang, or a random passer-by who committed the murder? And why? This is the most challenging case the investigative duo has ever tackled together.
Can they deal with the pitfalls in their personal lives and, at the same time, catch the brutal killer before he singles out his next victim?
