My year 1975

Welcome to 1975, in which the ailing President Ludvík Svoboda is replaced by Gustáv Husák. And there is also a lot of construction going on. The two largest department stores, Kotva and Máj, are opening in Prague, and Kotva is even the fifth largest department store in Europe. The construction of the largest Slovak housing estate Petržalka continues in Bratislava. Also, the legendary Pacho, the Hyb bandit, is being filmed and the group Elán is joining. In Spain, General Francisco Franco dies and in England, Margaret Thatcher is elected as the head of the conservative party.
