Nature's Fascinating Transformations DVD 2 - BBC

DVD Film - BBC documentary film. A long journey in search of life. The Great Journey The famed plains of South Africa's Serengeti are an arena for age-old rivals cheetahs, lions and hyenas to battle over scarce prey. However, as the rainy season approaches, the whole region turns green and attracts zebras, wildebeest and gazelles, who travel across rivers full of crocodiles to feed. But how will they cope in a place occupied by carnivores? The Big Move As winter approaches, the coastal waters off the east coast of South Africa cool and millions of sardines head north to feed on the rich plankton. The wandering of the sardine is one of the most amazing phenomena on the planet, attracting many predators for whom it is a crucial moment for survival.
