Neckář Václav: Atlantida '99 - CD

Atlantis '99, actually prepared since 1977 and released in 1987, will survive the beginning of the 2007 season!

The song Hvězdné nebe nad Atlantidou from the almost cult album Planetárium became a possible direct impulse, but it was still a long way to a group of thirteen songs in which Zdeněk Rytíř and Michal Horáček shared the lyrics to the music of Jan Neckář. Václav Neckář, although primarily an interpreter of many undoubted single hits, has once again proved himself here as a dramatic narrator of more extensive, actually composed stories, this time about continents sunk in the sea - even in us.

The cover, the original painting by the holder of the film Oscar, the academic painter Theodor Pištěk, also agrees very well with the exceptional recording. Not by chance, but after very careful listening to music, chose one of his works, to perfectly complement the visual side of the album, among the best, what has arisen in our field.

Václav Neckář again successfully beyond ordinary pop!
