New Order: Everything's Gone Green - LP

New Order: Everything's Gone Green - LP
Everything's Gone Green was New Order's third and non-album single, released in December 1981 on Factory Records. This is the latest New Order track produced by Martin Hannett, producer of previous New Order singles and both Joy Division albums. Hannett ended his collaboration with the band during the recording of this particular single, mainly due to disagreements between him and singer Bernard Sumner.
One of the seminal bands in British music history was formed in 1980. After the death of lead singer Ian Curtis, it was formed by the remaining members of the legendary Joy Division. New Order initially combined post-punk with electronica, but later experimented mainly with what modern technology had to offer. Their 1983 hit Blue Monday is still the best-selling 12-inch single of all time.
