NF Bátor Tábor prepares regular, weekly, virtual visits to hospitals, which ensure the contact of children with volunteers. They now bring the idea and therapeutic effect of these programs into a virtual environment so that they can provide them with children even in times of even greater isolation.
The programs aim to provide children with contact with peers, gain a sense of community, bring joy to life, discover themselves, create childhood memories and experience new social situations. Activities consist of tasks that are deliberately set to suit the capabilities of the children, but at the same time be slightly out of the comfort zone to discover new skills and build self-confidence. Trained volunteers provide programs full of activities focused on individual challenges and teamwork.

The content will be programs focused on specific activities. Furthermore, programs full of games, puzzles and other common activities. At the same time, each participant and volunteer will receive a “camp package“, which contains everything needed for the activities. Let' s create together a summer camp experience for children who would not otherwise be able to participate! Become a guide for a group of children and support them throughout the camp, lead half-hour blocks focused on reflection and at the same time participate in all programs. Or, conversely, be the leader of one of the programs that children attend. Whether it' s a production program, scientific experiments, media, photography, theater or music - choose for yourself, what is your passion and put a bit of yourself into it!

About NF Bátor Tábor
For 16 years, Bátor Tábor has been returning children with cancer and other chronic diseases to their carefree childhood.
Volunteers play a huge role in the success of the programs, in the training of which the NF invests and supports them in their constant development. It is essential for Bátor Tábor to ensure maximum physical and emotional security, thanks to which they can then consciously and on the basis of their own emotional intelligence use the method of experiential therapy. After each program, they share experiences together, learn from each other, work together to improve the program and give the opportunity to resolve any mental stress. This distinguishes this program from other programs based on hospital visits. The endowment fund collects feedback from participants, parents and volunteers on all programs. Based on the feedback from the virtual programs performed so far, they verified that the method of experiential therapy can also be used virtually. The result is a camp-like effect created outside the campsite and without physical contact.

Andrea has many years of experience in leading non-profit organizations and 10 years of experience in fundraising. Andrea ran her own non-profit organization, which she founded 10 years ago. She studied and worked in Washington DC, the European Parliament and fundraising is her passion.
