Nick Drake: Five Leaves Left

LP Record Five Leaves Left is the debut studio album by English singer-songwriter Nick Drake, released in 1969 on Island Records. The album's title refers to the warning found on the last five sheets of Rizla cigarette papers, indicating that only five leaves remain. This introspective and melancholy album showcases Drake's intricate guitar playing and distinctive, gentle vocal style. The ten tracks blend folk and baroque arrangements, with the song "River Man" standing out for its complex time signature and string arrangement by Harry Robinson.
