Nightwish: Wishmaster (Re-edition 2015) (2x LP) - LP

Nightwish is a Finnish metal band. The band was formed in 1996. Tuomas Holopainen, opera singer Tarja Turunen and guitarist Emppu Vuorinen recorded a demo together, which they named “Nightwish“, after which they named the band.

Then the line-up expanded to include drummer Julius “Jukka“ Nevalainen and bassist Sami Vänska. Sami was replaced by Marco Hietala after a few years. Instead of Tarja, which was eventually (r. 2005) expelled from the band, a new singer was announced in May 2007, the Swede Anette Olzon, who left the band in 2012. She was replaced by the singer Floor Jansen.

On August 6, 2014, on the band' s official Facebook page, drummer Jukka Nevalainen announced a temporary break in his performance in the band for an indefinite period due to health reasons. He will be replaced on the upcoming album by his close friend, drummer Kai Hahto.

On July 18, 2000, the band released the album “Wishmaster“, which immediately jumped to No. 1 in album sales and remained there for three weeks. During this time it was awarded gold. Despite the long-awaited release of Iron Maiden and Bon Jovi albums, which were released at the same time, Wishmaster won the title album of the month in the German magazine Rock Hard.
