She perceives the worlds of her stories as a second reality from which she does not like to wake up, because her characters are her friends, lovers and children. The novel Nine Days (2017) was her successful debut and her entry into the subgenre of dystopia, a story set in a world where religious fanaticism clashes with the desire for freedom in the world of the Citadel. In 2019, she followed up with a sequel called Nine Nights (2019), which is also the conclusion of the story. In November 2019, her first published short story, Gienah, was published in the anthology In the Shadow of Magic. The novel Borrowed Time (2023) is the first volume of a new series. The story is set in futuristic Europe and its narrative is slightly reminiscent of Asimov's science fiction. PAVEL SOUKUP Czech actor and dubber. He originally graduated from the Faculty of Journalism at Charles University. Then he started to study at DAMU. After school, he worked mainly in regional theatres, but later returned to Prague, where he began performing at the ABC Theatre. He has also starred on television.
