Nobody - DVD
Hutch (Bob Odenkirk) is a jaded middle-aged man whose life has been reduced to annoying daily rituals interspersed with his wife's scorn and his own children's adolescent outbursts. When two burglars break into their house, she lets them rob and beat her son with impunity.
He defends himself by saying he did not want to escalate a dangerous situation, but everyone around him thinks he is a coward. Hutch initially thought he could handle it, but when he becomes one of the passengers harassed by a gang of thugs on a night bus, the accumulated soot explodes. And there are.
Nobody is directed by Ilya Naishuler, who scored big in theaters with the original action thriller Hardcore Henry. The script was written by Derek Kolstad, who is a key part of the creative team behind the John Wick franchise.
Bob Odenkirk, Emmy Award winner for Call Saul, certainly doesn't look like your typical action hero, which producer David Leitch says is the charm of this film. "You would never believe that when this guy gets hit, he can hit back. So when he does, you're left staring with your mouth open. Until the end of the film," says the producer.
