Not even a minute of silence

The young narrator Irena brings the reader into the community of her free friends, less here, more rebellious here, sometimes more, sometimes less lost, sometimes even literally missing. Parties, deserted parties, hardening and endless drives until dawn - a boundless enjoyment of life as if cut out of a frenetic, fast-paced series for young adults; However, through the heroine's indulgence shines the ever more pressing realisation that the endless partying - with its occasional routine of some meaningless jobs - is just a band-aid for pain, existential heaviness and unmooredness, total loneliness in the midst of social clamour.
