Olik's adventure expedition

An adventurous tale of overwhelming courage and the power of friendship takes readers into a mysterious realm inhabited by the most popular children's toys. Netflix is developing a four-part family series based on the book. < br> The mysterious land of toys hides many secrets. The laws as old as childhood itself apply there, and the magic that turns an ordinary toy into a toy most beloved by a child is fulfilled. Olíka was made by Vilík's mother and the stuffed animal will become the boy's best friend and, yes, his biggest favourite. But there are also villains in Toyland, and the most feared of them is its king, Zozo the Jester. He vowed that the evil monsters in his service would steal all the most popular toys and imprison them until they forgot the child to whom they once belonged. When Olik is also kidnapped, Vilík decides to find him. They have to break a lot of parenting rules in the process. Plus, it's a dark night outside. But it's about time: Olik is in great danger! < br> < br> From the writer, illustrator, filmmaker and co-creator of the Toy Story animated films: Toy Story, Legendary Crew, Bug's Life and Robots.
