Pavel Molek: Life according to Karl

A series of five dramatic apocrypha based on episodes described in the monarch's own biography, Vita Caroli. They trace the life of Prince Charles from his youthful experiences in Italy to the negotiations for his election as King of Rome. While Pavel Molek respects historical facts, he is much more interested in the "white spaces" behind them - the hidden moments preceding historical events, the characters of the characters, their possible motivations, family and social ties.
