Piano Theory

In Theory of the Piano, Klára Haunerová uses diary entries to openly confess, with exaggeration and humour, her arduous journey in search of love and a life partner. In five turbulent years after turning thirty, falling in love, love affairs, naive notions of love, and a heap of disappointments all mix together. In addition to reminiscing about her relationships, she also currently recounts her experiences with dating and searching for a soulmate during the pandemic. The collection of short stories includes the author's memories of childhood, travel experiences, and perpetual moving.
