Plastic injection moulding 2
The book Plastic Injection Molding 2 loosely follows the previous two publications by the same author, devoted to other areas of this technology, and thus completes the effort to cover the widest possible area of this field. It is intended especially for students of secondary and higher technical schools, technologists, to the adjusters, injection mould designers, managers in the field of thermoplastic injection moulding, etc. It will also provide information for professionals from other disciplines who need to know about the most commonly used technology for thermoplastics processing.
The range of topics covered in the book is extremely broad. After an introduction to macromolecular chemistry and thermal analysis of polymeric materials (including infrared spectrometry), it deals with the problem of increasing the utility and processing properties of injection moulded materials, describes individual technologies of plastics processing, deals with modifications of the basic technology of injection moulding and the area of use of simulation programs and interpretation of simulation results, including their use for optimization of the injection moulding process of thermoplastics.
The chapter describing the practical possibilities of using 3D printing in the production of prototype injection mouldings from thermoplastics is also useful. The most extensive (and practically oriented) part of the book is a guide to troubleshooting and troubleshooting thermoplastic injection moulding. The publication also includes an extensive test (over 200 questions) to test the expertise in the field of thermoplastic injection moulding.
