Platoon - Blu-ray

Chris Taylor (Charlie Sheen), a young, inexperienced student, is assigned to the 30-member “Platoon“ infantry unit. The task is: “Find and Destroy“. Mental and physical commitment is unbearable for young soldiers. Many find themselves on the verge of madness. During one of the attacks on the village, the young men become beasts. As if drunk, they kill cripples, women and children. Barnes (Tom Berenger) interrogates the peasant. They do not believe that the weapons hidden in the rice are not intended for Vietnamese soldiers. Barnes shoots a peasant' s wife and threatens to kill his little daughter. Elias (Willem Dafoe) saw everything and swears to Barnes that he will make sure he is brought to justice. Shortly afterwards, Elias is killed in the attack. Only Chris knows who did it; it was not the Vietnamese, but the Barnes. Chris now has only two thoughts: to see Barnes die and survive alone.
