Police: Greatest Hits (1992) - CD

The Police was a three-member rock band. It consists of singer and bassist Sting, guitarist Andy Summers and drummer Stewart Copeland. It reached its greatest popularity in the early 1980s.

Stylistically, it can be included in the new-wave alongside XTC, Pretenders or The Jam, but significantly influenced by reggae and punk.

The band never officially disbanded, but had their last joint performance at a charity concert in 1986, since then they have met only once.
The Police returned in 2007 when they played at the 49th Grammy Awards. They toured the world in 2007 and performed at a Live Earth charity concert in July 2007.
