Thank you for your interest in the A1-B1 Polish for Holiday listening course. The course is designed for beginners to intermediate learners and focuses on vocabulary you can use on holiday.
The course is based on contextual learning, which means that you will learn not only words, but also sentences in which you can use the words. In this course you will find a total of 600 vocabulary words and practice sentences.
The individual lessons are divided according to the topics of car travel, air travel, destinations, in the hotel, in the restaurant, when shopping and communicating. These are not so much phrases you may need on holiday, but rather a review of communicative Polish at A1 - B1 level in preparation for your holiday. You can combine the pleasant with the useful.
How best to work with the course? Choose the lesson you want to start. Each lesson contains six tracks. First, for each lesson, familiarize yourself with the actual vocabulary (clues 1 and 2). Next, you have a vocabulary word followed by an example sentence, again in both translation variants (track 3 and 4).
Then you move on to complete sentences (tracks 5 and 6). As soon as you can translate the sentences from English into Polish (lesson 6) in the pause before the Polish translation, you have won. The words alone will help you to understand the meaning, but you will communicate much better with whole sentences.
For each block, that once you have mastered listening from Polish to English (Lesson 1, 3, 5 - listen to the exercises) you move on to the translation from English to Polish (lessons 2,4,6 - translate the exercises).
