Prague Brasstet: Joy - CD

The Prague BRASStet brass quintet began to form at the end of 2016 from the leading students of the brass department of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. The body' s greatest success is winning the Jeju International Brass & Percussion Competition 2019.
The ensemble consists of Walter Hofbauer and Karel Hons on trumpets, Daniela Roubíčková on French horn, Barbora Kolafová on trombone and Jakub Chmelař on tuba. The ensemble regularly performs at festivals in the Czech Republic and abroad.

The dramaturgy of the album of the brass quintet Prague BRASStet reflects the genre diversity of the repertoire that ensembles of this type have at their disposal today. The original work and arrangement of famous melodies of classical music is complemented by effective musical and film music in brass.
