Pressburger Klezmer Band: Roots - CD

In spring 2020, the Preßburger Klezmer Band was going to celebrate 25 years of existence not with a selection of the best, but with a complete new programme. It was ready when the pandemic of covid broke out, so it was only later that it was performed in front of the audience.
The next year the band decided to record these songs and so the Roots - Roots CD was created.
,, We are returning to diversity here, present on several of our past recordings ,,.

The songs are both composed and folk, sung and instrumental, slow and fast, arranged by band members and guests, or unarranged, taken from 100 or more years of klezmer recordings. In addition to the classic band line-up, you can hear several singing voices and a guest brass section.
