Punt'a and the Four Clovers - DVD

Tonda meets a lonely fox terrier Asja on the street and gives him a piece of bun. The dog then follows him to the playground, where he drives all of Tondo's friends crazy. The unexpected popularity impresses the boy and he decides to keep the dog.

His parents, however, are not too happy about it. Moreover, Puntja, as everyone calls him, is already looking for his real owner Lidka. Her friends also help her in her search and gradually bring dogs from all over the neighbourhood. Asta, however, is not among them.

This film provided the first major opportunity for later stars Václav Postránecký and Vladimír Pucholta. In addition to a sweet story, it offers the viewer a glimpse of life in the 1950s.
