Purple Mountain - Blu-ray

Edith Cushing (Mia Wasikowska) is a very emancipated young woman for her time, with a literary talent and an unpleasant childhood trauma that she deals with through her writing. A mysterious stranger, Sir Thomas Sharpe (Tom Hiddleston), likes her writing, and she, in turn, takes a liking to him. So much so that after the tragic death of her father, she soon casts aside her grief and marries him. Through this marriage, she becomes the co-owner of the Crimson Peak estate, dominated by a majestic yet dilapidated Victorian house, where rain, snow, and leaves fall through a hole in the roof into the entrance hall.
Within its gloomy walls, Edith certainly does not feel at home. Moreover, she very quickly begins to discover that her husband is not who he seemed to be. His mysterious and not always pleasant past begins to surface.
