Purple Mountain - Blu-ray

For her time, Edith Cushing (Mia Wasikowska) is a very emancipated young woman with a literary talent and a nasty childhood trauma, which she copes with through her writing. A mysterious stranger, Sir Thomas Sharpe (Tom Hiddleston), likes her writing, and she, in turn, takes a liking to him. So much so that after the tragic death of her father, she soon sets aside her grief and marries him. The marriage makes her the co-owner of the Crimson Peak estate, which is dominated by a majestic yet dilapidated Victorian house where rain, snow, and leaves fall through the hole in its roof into the entrance hall.
Within its gloomy walls, Edith definitely does not feel at home. Moreover, she very soon begins to realise that her husband is not who he seemed to be. His mysterious and not always pleasant past begins to surface.
