Queen: Hot Space - CD

To mark their 40th anniversary, the legendary British band Queen gifted themselves and their fans remastered versions of all their albums.

Hot Space is their tenth studio album, released in 1982. In addition to the band's typical sound, the influence of funk is particularly noticeable in the first half of the album. With the track Life Is Real (Song For Lennon), the band paid tribute to John Lennon by emulating his signature style.
The recording sessions in Montreux gave rise to a duet with David Bowie, who was a regular resident there and contacted the visiting Brits.
