Queensr? che [kwínzraik] is an American heavy metal / progressive metal band formed in 1981 in Bellevue, Washington. The band has released 10 studio albums, several EPs and DVDs and is still touring and recording. Queensr? They have been relatively successful on the progressive metal scene, selling 20 million albums worldwide, including 6 million albums in the United States alone.

In 1988, Queensr? who released the album Operation: Mindcrime, a story concept album that has proven massive critical and commercial success. The story of the album revolved around a drug addict who had been brainwashed to kill for the underworld. “Mindcrime“ has often been cited by critics as a notable concept album such as The Wall by Pink Floyd, Scenes From and Memory by Dream Theater and Tommy by The Who. The band toured during 1988 and 1989 with several bands including Def Leppard, Guns N ' Roses and Metallica.
