RADIOHEAD: Pablo Honey

LP Record In 1993, Radiohead released their debut album, Pablo Honey, its title inspired by a joke from one of the infamous Jerky Boys comedy CDs. The result was a stunning blend that combined the best aspects of progressive rock (elaborate lyrics, clever chord changes, unconventional time signatures, and so on) with the simplicity of a living-room singer-songwriter and the sound of expensive equipment expertly handled. Although their later albums were better received, this remains one of the most impressive rock debuts.
