Radiology for study and practice

The basic textbook in the field contains a general part, where the definition of the field, its history and development are clearly and briefly presented. It provides the basic knowledge needed to understand the principles of individual methods and procedures and to use them safely for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.

This is followed by a special section, which mainly discusses radiotherapy and imaging methods, the nature and principles of methods and examinations, their possibilities, patient preparation and nuclear medicine. The book is intended not only for medics and aspiring physicians, but also for students of non-medical medical disciplines.

The publication is richly illustrated with almost 400 pictures, diagrams and tables.
