Reflections and comments

The selection of articles by Vlastimil Vondruška published in the daily MF Dnes since 2015 is a colourful overview of what is happening today. The author, known for his liberal-conservative positions, responds in his commentaries to current political events. He was one of the first to raise some topics and logically provoked many positive and negative reactions. Many of his ideas still divide commentators, and as the author says, the future will tell where the truth lies. Reflections address the broader historical roots and social context of such phenomena, like democracy, freedom of speech, demagoguery, migration, tradition and family. There are also several historical serials and ironic glosses.
