Sara Mia Velinská

Sara Mia Velinská is the pseudonym of a successful Slovak author who works in the justice system, from which she draws inspiration for her books. Her debut novel, The Prosecutor and I (Prokurátor a já, 2021), immediately won readers' hearts with its believable portrayal of a love triangle, immoral love, and the dark practices of the Slovak judiciary and criminal underworld. The novel became a bestseller, as did its sequel, The Boss and I (Boss a já, 2023), which was a huge success on the Slovak book market. Her novel Revenge (Pomsta, 2022) is also very popular with readers. It was the author's first work, although it was published second. In addition to the romantic storyline, it focuses on the fragility of interpersonal and especially family relationships. It offers a glimpse into the ruthless world of financial sharks and the anatomy of revenge with all its consequences. In her work, the author combines elements of social and romance novels in an attractive, modern style. She is known for her intelligent yet readable style, lively plot dynamics, deep character development, and realistic plots with unpredictable twists.
