The life and crimes of a satanic killer
Diligently compiled over three years and based on nearly one hundred hours of exclusive interviews with Richard Ramirez on California's death row, Richard Ramirez: Night Stalker is the definitive story of America's most feared serial killer. From Ramirez's first brushes with the law, through his most murderous stalking sprees, to the unprecedented police and civilian manhunt that resulted in one of the most sensational trials in California history, Richard Ramirez: Night Stalker is a chilling and mesmerising descent into the very heart of human evil. It is more than epic non-fiction at its most brutal—it is a masterpiece of the true crime genre. Ramirez was sentenced to death for thirteen proven murders, five attempted murders, eleven sexual assaults and fourteen burglaries. He died in 2013, after twenty-three years on death row. Ramirez's case has been the subject of several documentaries and television and feature films, with the 2021 Netflix docuseries Night Stalker: The Hunt for a Serial Killer receiving critical acclaim.
