Robin, the dog and me

The author of the famous picture book series about Lawrence the cat comes up with a story of two siblings who feel a bit like Robinson Crusoes on a desert island at the end of a small town where they live with their parents. They are unexpectedly pulled out of their loneliness by a stray dog, who brings a new friendship into their lives, not just a canine one.

The adventures of the schoolgirl Marka and her extraordinary brother Robin were illustrated by the leading Czech painter and graphic artist Jiří Fixl.
