Rolling Stones: Let It Bleed - CD

The Rolling Stones is a British rock and roll band led by singer Mick Jagger.

It was founded in London in 1962 and still plays today. The band became famous in the early 1960s as a counterpart to The Beatles. The main driver of the band at the beginning was guitarist Brian Jones. However, with the increase in the band' s popularity, its strength as a leader slowly waned and by the end of the 1960s he was practically no longer in the band. The core of the group becomes singer Mick Jagger and guitarist Keith Richards, who still work in the Rolling Stones after various changes in the band' s cast. Brian Jones was the first to lose control of the 1960s phenomenon - drugs. In the summer of 1969, he died, in unclear circumstances, in the pool of his house. After his death, the excellent guitarist Mick Taylor definitely joins the band.

An excellent drug addict, he left the band in 1974. Ronnie Wood soon filled the post of guitarist. Shortly after the highly successful Steel Wheels - Urban Jungle tour, when the band first visited post-communist Czechoslovakia, bassist Bill Wyman left the band. Compared to other members of the band, he was about 6 years older. Only Darryl Jones replaces him as an external member. In the list of fifty immortal rock' n' roll performers of Rolling Stone magazine, the band ranked 4th.
