The Rolling Stones are a band that has been an inconceivable pillar of rock music since its inception in 1962, when they were the opposite of the St. Beatles. This is evidenced by their inclusion in fourth place in the ranking of fifty immortal rock' n' roll performers of Rolling Stone magazine, a double Grammy award for lifetime work and induction into the Rock' n' roll Hall of Fame.
