Rosemary's Baby - DVD

Is it just hormones, or are dark forces truly preparing to take over the world?

Newlyweds Rosemary and Guy Woodhouse (Mia Farrow and John Cassavetes) move into an old New York apartment building, even though their friend Hutch (Maurice Evans) warns them about the house's dark history. Occultists have practised there, and several tragic deaths have occurred.
Woodhouse and his wife get to know their elderly neighbours, the Castevets, who begin to visit them frequently. When Rosemary gets pregnant, the Castevets recommend their gynaecologist friend. From that moment on, however, Rosemary begins to suffer from inexplicable pain and fear. Sounds like those from a spiritualist seance are heard from the Castevets' flat, and some people, including the vigilant Hutch, mysteriously fall ill or die. Are these just coincidences, the imaginings of an unstable mother-to-be, or is a genuine satanic conspiracy being plotted against Rosemary?
