Růžička Karel: Karel Růžička + 9 - CD

The first solo album was recorded by the famous Czech jazz pianist Karel Růžička in July 1972 and included a repertoire prepared for a special performance at the International Jazz Festival. The stars of domestic jazz met in the studio for the recording: Jiří Stivín, Jiří Válek, Miloš Petr, Zdeněk Pulec, Svatopluk Košvanec, Petr Fleischer, Petr Kořínek and Josef Vejvoda. The ninth soloist on some recordings of this album was guitarist Rudolf Dašek.
The album Karel Růžička + 9 was released in 2019 for the first time in a re-edition on a compact disc after almost fifty years.
