SANANIM

SANANIM builds its services on the principle of “harm reduction“ and promotes the principle of a rational drug policy. Every year, around 10,000 clients pass through their facilities - drug users, pathological gamblers and people with other types of addictions. And also their parents, children and loved ones, whose lives are heavily affected by living with a drug addict. In the treatment of addiction, clients who go through their treatment programs show a success rate of 50 to 70%.
At present, their comprehensive system of care for people at risk of addiction consists of 16 treatment facilities and related services from field programs, contact center, addictology clinic, day hospital, counseling for parents, therapeutic communities up to sheltered housing, employment and social agency and online services. All services at SANANIM have certificates of professional competence. They publish professional publications, educate experts for specific drug services in the Czech Republic and are actively involved in a number of European projects. They are represented at all levels of drug policy-making in the Czech Republic.
