Save Private Ryan - DVD

This war drama takes place during the first days of the Allied invasion.
The Second World War was a decisive event of the 20th century and became a defining turning point in history for America. It changed the world's borders and is now called “the last great war”.
But no amount of training could prepare the Allied soldiers for what awaited them after landing on Omaha Beach in Normandy. Although filled with determination and faith in victory, few of them survived the battle for this small piece of the French coast.

From the perspective of Captain John Miller (Tom Hanks), it is clear that he is aware of the danger that awaits his unit. However, he has no idea that this is far from the most difficult task he and his soldiers will have to accomplish.
His eight-man squad is ordered to find Private Ryan, whose three brothers have already fallen on the front line. But it is a very dangerous mission. Everyone is haunted by the question of whether it is worth risking eight lives to save one.
