Second Sister

Anyone who looks into her face will recoil from Alicia Bjelke's disfigured face. While her brilliant brain is behind the pioneering online dating site, the spotlight is on its co-founder – Alice's beautiful sister Stella. That is, until one day she's found dead. Alicia finds herself at the very edge of the abyss and it soon becomes clear that she is about to become the next victim.

The case will be handled by former FBI agent John Adderley, who lives under a new identity in Karlstad, Sweden. Here, too, the shadows of the past are catching up with him and he finds that if he does not leave Sweden immediately, he will not get out alive. But circumstances change from one day to the next, and in the end he has no choice but to deal with the past once and for all instead of running away. The murder investigation proves to be an unexpectedly welcome opportunity. If he can carry out his plan, he has a unique chance to finally gain the freedom he so desperately wants. But isn't it too late?
