Segrado František: Letters from Love and Hate - CD

Throughout 1989, Michal Horáček wrote letters for the magazine Mladý svět, addressed to personalities from various eras. He chose them based on the power of their stories and also on what they could say to the times in which the author's readers lived.

Letters of Love and Hate, thanks to the uniqueness of the genre, but also to allegories against which the censorship of the time was powerless, earned an unprecedented response from readers. A quarter of a century later, Michal Horáček decided to select what he considered the most interesting among them, supplemented them with several other texts, and asked František Segrado to read them in his own unmistakable way as a natural-born storyteller.

František Segrado is the protagonist of several Hapka-Horáček projects, and especially the song album Segrado, which met with significant listener interest in 2014.

Guitarist Josef Štěpánek also contributed to the overall effect with his improvisations.
