Shackles of the past

Talin McKade works for an organisation dedicated to helping children from the streets and finding them safe homes with foster families. But when the mutilated bodies of two of her charges are discovered and another is still on the missing list, she must turn for help to a man to whom she has been dead until now.
Clay Bennett is a respected sentinel of the DarkRiver pack, but he has a dark past. To save his best friend Talin, he killed a man in his childhood, and on the day he was told that Talin too was dead, all the good in him died. But now she stands before him, alive and well, asking for his help. Clay has lost Talin once before. He will not let her go again. He is consumed by a furious desire to possess her, as ravenous as the leopard hidden within him. As they try to save the innocent, Clay and Talin must confront the ugly memories of their violent past… or lose everything they have ever cared about.
