Shameful Pancharti - DVD

Once upon a time in Nazi-occupied France.
Welcome to the Second World War according to Quentin Tarantino.

German soldiers’ legs are still aching from their bold invasion of Western Europe when the young Shosanna (Mélanie Laurent) witnesses German officer Hans Landa (Christoph Waltz) massacre her family right before her eyes. She barely escapes to Paris, where she takes on a new identity as a cinema owner.

Elsewhere in a Europe torn apart by the swastika, an unusual military unit is forming under the command of the slightly arrogant American Lieutenant Aldo Raine (Brad Pitt). Their mission is not only to survive in a territory teeming with Nazis and their collaborators, but also to eliminate their elites so effectively that they spread fear and panic among them. They call themselves the Basterds, and they are about to face their most difficult mission yet, one that could change the entire course of the war.
A Parisian cinema is preparing for the premiere of a new German propaganda epic, an event set to be attended by a host of top Nazi officials (perhaps even Hitler himself). The Basterds' task is to infiltrate the event and show the leaders of the Third Reich what it feels like to be dead. What they don't count on is that, right under the projector's light, the orphaned Shosanna is hatching her own plan for revenge for her loved ones' deaths, and that when one brilliant assassination plot collides with another, the result can be an even more brilliant failure.
