Detective Mitch Preston (Robert DeNiro) serves on the Los Angeles Police Department and wants nothing more than to do his job to the best of his ability. Police officer Trey Sellars (Eddie Murphy) is the complete opposite. He'd rather be a TV star than a law enforcement officer.
