SHQ: Family Chronicle - CD

The Family Chronicle compilation contains recordings of the jazz group SHQ from 1962-1963. The ensemble was not given the opportunity to record a full-length record at the time, but made 18 recordings, scattered on five jazz compilations and one EP record. It was quite a turbulent stage for SHQ, of the founders only Karel Velebný and Jan Konopásek remained, the group tried several jazz styles. There are also recordings made by the ensemble for films by American director Gen Deitch.
