Shroud

Newly discovered planets are an easy target for speculators and space adventurers. During a mining mission to a distant star system, an unusual moon is discovered by chance – dark, coal-black, and highly radioactive. The environment, with its high gravity, extreme pressure, and zero oxygen content, is deadly to life, but rich in raw materials. They name it Rubáš and prepare to begin mining.

A fatal accident forces two members of the support staff to make an emergency landing on the moon's inhospitable surface. However, Rubáš is a place that humans should not enter under any circumstances.

Their small transport capsule cannot get them back to the ship, nor can it contact it. They are running out of time. To survive, they have no choice but to embark on an exhausting journey across the dangerous moon. But the inhuman environment is not the worst thing that awaits them. They discover that they are not the only living beings that Rubáš hosts. There is someone else. Someone local. And that someone is starting to get to know them.

They looked into the darkness, and the darkness looked back…

If they manage to escape from Rubáš, they will have to explain the impossible and the unbelievable. And face their own crew, who are not interested in this extraordinary world, but only in the profit it can bring them. If they even make it back at all.

On the surface of the dead world, something is breathing. And waiting. You are never alone.
