The sixth and most content-packed installment of the iconic Dark Tower saga
The Dark Tower series describes the journey of the main (anti-)hero Roland Deschain of Gilead, the last "gunslinger", in his search for the Dark Tower.
In this episode, Roland and his ka-tet must save a pregnant Susannah, whose body is inhabited by a demonic mother, Mia, who wants to bring her "little guy" into the world. With the help of the Black Thirteen, he takes her to New York in 1999, where she gives birth. But Roland also has to protect the rose on the 1977 New York property, which has to do with who will own Mr. Calvin Tower's empty lot. They'll split up. One half of the ka-tet will go in search of Susannah-Mia and the other half will go to protect the rose. Their wanderings lead them to meet Stephen King, a Maine author who writes the Dark Tower stories. This is the most content-laden book in Stephen King's Dark Tower series, with many pivotal moments.
