Slávko nedej se! - DVD

When young pharmacist Karel Pavlovský (A. Novotný) is sent to Kutná Hora by his father, also a pharmacist, to stay with his friend Řepa (T. Pištěk), it sparks the transformation of the old-fashioned Miroslava (V. Ferbasová) into the modern Slávka. His father hopes that Karel will take a liking to Řepa's daughter Miroslava and marry her. However, Karel, a thoroughly modern man and a keen sportsman, is appalled by Miroslava and wants nothing to do with her. Miroslava, on the other hand, is quite taken with Karel; hurt by his rejection, she decides to take action. While her parents are away, and with the help of her worldly-wise uncle Ambrož (Jára Kohout), she transforms herself into 'Slávka' through exercise, a new hairstyle, and a new wardrobe. When Karel next meets her, he doesn't recognise her at all.
