Slávko nedej se! - DVD

The transformation of the old-worldly Miroslava (V. Ferbasová) into a modern girl Slávka is the work of a young pharmacist Karel Pavlovský (A. Novotny). He sends him to Kutná Hora to his friend Řep (T. Pištěk) father, also a pharmacist. He hopes that Řep's daughter Miroslava will like his son and the marriage will take place. Karel, an athlete in body and soul, a young modern man, is horrified by Miroslava and has no intention of having anything to do with her. Miroslava, however, likes Karel; The rejection upsets her and so she takes action - she takes advantage of her parents' absence and with the help of her worldly uncle Ambrose (Jára Kohout), with the help of exercise, a hairdresser and new clothes, she transforms herself into Slávka, whom Karel will not recognise when they meet again.
