Slza: Katarze - LP

Finally, the long-coveted vinyl comes out to fans.
After the debut album sold more than 13,000 copies on CD, it' s time for a collector' s vinyl with a coloured LP in the colour of the cover (light gray).

It contains an opening booklet with large photographs inside - ideal for the signatures of Peter and Lukáš.

The band Slza made itself known for the first time in October 2014, when they presented the debut single Lhůta záruční to the public, which soon became a hit and became one of the most successful videos on YouTube (more than 10 million views).
Since then, Petr and Lukáš have contributed other hits and clips to the Czech airwaves, all of which reached the TOP 5 and collected several prestigious awards in various polls.

Subsequently, they recorded their first album under the name Katarze and the album won an platinum record incredibly soon after the release, and its current sales exceeded 12,000 pcs.

When recording their debut album, the band Slza focused mainly on offering fans melodic songs with catchy and expressive refrains, which will work well not only when listening to the album or at larger concerts, but also with a guitar or piano.

However, the dozens of songs on Katarze' s album will first and foremost capture the great original musical side. This was taken care of by Lukáš Bundil, who is the main author of the music, in collaboration with producer Dalibor Cidlinský Jr. He had a clear intention - to create an author' s album in Czech with modern sound and production, which is based on modern trends of the contemporary pop scene in the world. That even in this case the intention seems to have been fulfilled is confirmed, among other things, by the title song, which was chosen by the creators of the Přístav series as an accompanying song.

In addition to music, we cannot forget the excellent lyrics reflecting human emotions, under which Ondřej Ládek aka Xindl X is signed. When writing, he tried not to make the album thematically uniform. “We will find songs about crumbling relationships, pretense, and the difficulty of facing prejudice. But in each of these micro-stories, we go through some purification, catharsis, “he explains. And it was this aspect that gave the whole album to Katarze.
