Sodoma Viktor: Gomora 1969-1972 - CD

Viktor Sodoma, a very popular and well-loved singer from the turn of the 1960s and 70s, joined forces with the talented composer and conductor Václav Zahradník for about four years of his artistic career. This happened in quick succession after his distinctive beat period.
At that time, Antonín Matzner took them under his wing as a producer, and the impressive lyrics were mainly written by Michael Prostějovský, Vladimír Poštulka, and Eduard Krečmar. It was a successful partnership. Sodoma immediately started recording albums, regularly filming for television, and even had a role in Jan Kačer's film 'I Am Heaven'.
In the 1970/71 season, he performed alongside Hana Zagorová and Jiří Štědroň at the Komedie Theatre in the show 'It Has Just Struck Half Past', accompanied by the band Gomora.

This selection presents, for the first time, a comprehensive collection of recordings from this fruitful collaboration, along with two bonus tracks from the archives of the NFA and Czech Television, which collectors will especially appreciate.
